the foxworks

The Foxworks is a place where I (amadaluzia) place projects I really, really care about so I don't clutter it with my human-written slop (because humans can write slop too).

Projects

scaff

scaff is a static site generator made in spite of everything that exists at the moment. It cannot do many things in it's current state, however, it can create a website based on Markdown files, HTML templates and whatever assets you want to include. This is the bare minimum of what a static site generator should do.

scaff can be found on Codeberg.

gtm

gtm is another static site generator made specifically for the Gemini protocol. The purpose behind gtm is that there's still a need to template Gemtext files in case you wanted to add navigation links, footers, headers, etc. This SSG is my personal means of getting that, and is also a fun project whenever I want to casually just enjoy writing Python instead of other languages.

gtm can be found on Codeberg.

holyword

holyword is an unfinished CLI tool that works with the AO Lab Bible API to fetch quotes from many different translations of the Bible. It can currently fetch the available translations but it cannot display any Bible quotes at the moment, and I've taken up different projects of varying scales.

holyword can be found on Codeberg.

webfetch

webfetch is a mostly complete fetch program that writes information about your system to an HTML page. This is mostly a joke tool made because of the countless issues people had with displaying images in the terminal, given that the solution would have been to just use the greater customisation offered with web technologies like HTML and CSS. This was also based off of a project made by my friend izder456, who has their own version of their exfetch for web.

webfetch can be found on Codeberg.

theo.el

theo.el is a GNU Emacs package which outputs quotes from Theo de Raadt. This package was made as a joke as well, being written in a voice call after another friend brought up lib/theo, a file in the source code for the 9front operating system. It does not do much beyond that, and tries to follow the best practices for GNU Emacs packages.

theo.el can be found on Codeberg.

stfu

stfu is another "fetch" program which basically tells the user to shut up about their fetch. This was also made as a joke because "the original stfu is written in shell therefore it's slow". It uses C++23 features and is probably never going to get another commit. I don't need to change it.

stfu can be found on Codeberg.

Foxworks has a code of conduct. Please read the code of conduct.

Chat

Foxworks projects can be discussed over on the #foxworks OFTC channel, as well as the foxworks Matrix room. I (amadaluzia) am also happy to be personally contacted about my projects, which you can find my information on my personal website.
